Meet Emily

It's a pleasure to introduce myself to you. I'm Emily Lutes and I've started my first role in the Executive Admin arena more than 10 years ago working for the University of Tennessee. In 2023, I decided to take my skills into the virtual arena and now am able to help people in many parts of the country. Here's my story.

Having been a Memphis girl - born and bred, I took the plunge in 2021 and relocated to the Kansas City metro area where I currently reside with my husband, two purrfect cats and my garden. Following the move, I spent some time reprising my EA role for another university until life turned yet again, requiring more flexibility in my work patterns and in turn inspiring my creative side. In 2022, EBL Photography (www.eblphoto.com) was born and photography/videography continues to be one of my greatest passions.

One of my primary client verticals has been small business photography.
I have been hired to cover retreats, produce business imagery, and provide individual photoshoots as well as being selected to cover 'Fall Fashion Week' at Union Station in Kansas City.

Creativity, hard work, organization are three of my primary skills,
and I employ them in many aspects of my life from cooking to gardening and into business.

I live the ancient addage "if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life".

The transition to VA has been a seamless and logical one. After having known and worked with dozens of business owners, I’ve found that my special organization, creative and focus powers are often missing and are highly sought.

Business organization became my passion

It’s become quite apparent that business owners often struggle with being able to spend the time required to focus on profitability and expansion because they’ve found themselves struggling to manage just the daily grind required to keep a business running. It’s been a treat to work with frustrated owners and help them identify business efficiencies and offload regular tasks which are important, but that can be prohibitive business growth.

Let the creative begin

In 2023, I added Digital Marketing to my repertoire. This aspect created the perfect trifecta of creative photography, my previous graphic design experience and my organizational kung fu. I learned I have a knack for creating intriguing content and the consistent focus of ad campaign management was a great fit for my skillset.

Becoming a Virtual Assistant allows me to do what I love, capitalize on what I do very well and reap the fulfillment of having truly made a difference to someone like me who’s striving for success as an entrepreneur. I can relate. I can help.

“With Emily’s help, I regained a ton of my daily focus time. She’s a miracle worker!”
